The application of air spring
Air Spring is used for self-adjusting air suspension in commercial vehicles, buses and rail vehicles as well as on stationary machines and foundation bearings.

Air suspension is used in place of conventional steel springs in passenger cars, and in heavy vehicle applications such as buses and trucks. It is broadly used on semi trailers,trains (primarily passenger trains. One application was on EMD's experimental Aerotain.
The Advantages of Air Spring
These air springs (air shock absorbers) offer a favorable stroke-to-compressed-height ratio when compared to air cylinders, and they can accept a wide variety of actuation media such as air, water, nitrogen or anti-freeze. As isolators, GUOMAT Air Springs are effective in reducing the harmful effects of vibration. They can simultaneously isolate vibration and regulate load height as well as allow for consistent vibration isolation under varying loads.
